What is the Big Bang Theory?

Evidence supporting the Big Bang Theory

Scientists have observed that these galaxies are moving away from us at tremendous speeds, which suggests that they were once all much closer together. This fits with what we would expect if everything in the universe originated from a single point and then rapidly expanded outward.

For example, scientists have yet to understand what caused inflation – an incredibly rapid expansion thought to have occurred just after the initial explosion.

Despite these challenges, the Big Bang Theory remains the largest and most widely accepted theory of the evolution of the universe. It has provided scientists with a framework for understanding how everything we see around us came into existence and how it has evolved over time. While there is still much we don’t understand about the universe, ongoing research and exploration will undoubtedly continue to shed light on this fascinating topic.
