My Take on Lutheran Wrappers

As many of you have no doubt read, there is something of a kerfuffle among the Reformed in regards to Reformed rappers. (For more information, go here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here. I don’t have time to link to any those sites, so use your best judgment.)

But far worse is the phenomenon of Lutheran wrappers, a pop-culty fad that is sweeping large parts of Steubenville, Milwaukee, and Bismark. Lutheran youth are being pulled into this terrible trend, and before long they will be lost to us once and for all.

Will no one speak out against this horror? Have we sold out to the culture to such an extent that we’ve given up taking a principled stand against stuff we should not be sitting on? Are we simply to nod off as another generation of Lutherans is beguiled by the blandishments of Babylon? (And let me tell you, Babylonian blandishments are among some of the most alluring one can be beguiled by, at least according to the latest edition of Fodor’s.)

Can any of you look at this video and tell me we do not have a serious problem on our hands? Or on their hands?
