It’s been years since I’ve tuned in to Saturday Night Live, but I may have to jigger my DVR after catching this sketch from last night on Hulu.
So your iPhone 5 not quite the revolutionary leap into the future that you had hoped? Have to wait another microsecond for an app to load, over and against your old Droid Razr? How about that purple haze that mars backyard photos of your cat dressed like Julius Caesar? Too bad you can’t take your complaints directly to the good folks who actually slap all those parts together in the first place.
Favorite bit: traditional Chinese shaming dance.
Favorite line (also CNET‘s): ”What does America make? Does diabetes count as a product? If not, we have to get back to you.”
BTW: Anchorman and Married with Children star Christina Applegate received high marks for her turn as host. In 2008 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is now cancer-free and costarring in another series, Up All Night. Good for her all around.

It’s been too long since Applegate hosted SNL. This was my favorite skit of the night, seeing as it was a perfect image of tech writers today. I wasn’t able to catch the show last night since I was working late at DISH. I set my Hopper a while back to automatically record the entire season to the two terabyte DVR and then watched it this morning. I am just happy that I can watch it when I want without having to worry about how much space I’ve got. I can’t wait to see Bruno Mars next week!
