Another record the Obama administration seems to be going for — besides running up the largest pile of debt in the history of everything — is most morally bankrupt campaign. Alana Goodman over at Contentions reports:
It would be hard to dream up a clearer example of an entitlement mentality than this e-card on the Obama campaign website:
Dear Mom,
Mitt Romney says he would repeal the Affordable Care Act. So here’s a quick question: Can I borrow $18,000 to help pay for my birth control?
Thanks!
The e-card is supposed to point out that it’s ridiculous to ask your mother for $18,000 to pay for birth control. True, but that begs the question: wouldn’t it be even more ridiculous to ask a perfect stranger to pay for your birth control?
Surely you jest. Remember: it takes a village … to be a gynecologist.
If Romney is clever, and he’s not, he’ll have Mom write back:
Dear Lolita,
If you need $18,000 to “help pay” for your for birth control, you have more problems than the wrong kind of health insurance. Oh, and your father wants to have a little talk with your “boyfriend.” Have you seen where he put your brother’s Louisville Slugger?
Love,
Mom
P.S. The door to your bedroom now unlocks only from the outside.

Dear daughter,
Your father and I will be voting for Romney this year and we will be mailing you a chastity belt for your birthday next week. Is pink still your favorite color?
Love,
Mom
